Hello lovely readers, how’s it going? Hope you’re doing well!
You know, my intent was to not have a post like this this month because the plan was to not buy more books but what do you know, I went and bought more books (and spoiler, I’ve bought books this month too so there will be yet another haul post next month!).
Basically, I’m still in danmei mode and reading lots of danmei novels.
Since buying all these at the start I’ve February I’ve read both volumes 4 and 5 of Heaven Official’s Blessing and I’m devastated that now I have to wait until the end of May/June for more volumes of it, but in the meantime I’ll enjoy reading what I have of Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation.
So quick post this week but what have you been reading/buying lately?

I?m really curios about these books! What are they? some kind of light novels?

I guess they’re light novels? It was a web series, does that make it a light novel?
Honestly, I’ve actually never really understood the difference between a light novel and a novel because one definition I looked up tried to claim that light novels are simply written while novels are more complex and intellectual and I just thought that was a load of crap

I always see light novel as written with many more volumes and with drawings.. maybe I’m wrong too lol

I thought it might be the web serialisation aspect…but if it’s the drawings also…now I’m thinking that if serialisation and drawings is what makes it a light novel then would Great Expectations by Charles Dickens technically count as that was originally serialised, is very long and editions these days often contain drawings?
haha, trying to define book genres is hard and often leads to some silly results 😀
